How therapy works
I value understanding your history, goals, and unique situation in greater detail. When working with couples, it can be helpful to have an individual session with each partner so I have the opportunity to understand both of your perspectives better.
I want therapy to work for you. It’s important to me to collaborate with my clients about what is important and make that a priority in therapy. I’ll also directly provide you with my recommendations and feedback about what I think needs to be addressed and why. The final say in what we work on and how we work is yours. I am not here to judge you. I’m here to help in a way that makes sense for you. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, poly/kink aware, and neurodiverse aware.
I offer in-person therapy in Northbrook or virtual therapy for anyone living in Illinois.
